Dimensions Launch

Just booked Dimensions flights. On one leg we’re doing some crazy route involving Paris, Venice and quite a few incidences of public transport … but man am I excited! Meanwhile, the organizers have found time in their busy schedules to set up a launch party this coming Friday in London which looks ridiculous (currently at an unknown venue, but deets should be revealed in the next few days).

Synkro and Indigo are on the bill - two of the best UK producers out there right now - and going up against the Room 1ers from Eglo: Floating Points and Alexander Nut. I expect this absurdly difficult choice is but a gentle precursor to the schedule nightmare that the real festival will produce, but it’s good of Dimensions to get practice in early.

I listened to Floating Points a lot at university, and the tune below remains one of the coolest songs to chill to, dance to, walk to, talk to. Truly.

Before you head down to the TBA venue Friday, check out this promo mix in the meantime from Juniper, one of the acts set to recrumble the fort’s foundations. It’s a nice mix of analog-oriented house grooves, slow burning, precise and perfect for the absorption of those inevitable rays.

Let the dancing begin.
